Chive and Onion

One of the pleasant surprises of this year's stay in Buenos Aires is finding Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese with Chive and Onion in the supermarket. It's the real stuff, imported from the U.S.

We never ate peanut butter at home. But every time we found it in BA, my wife snapped it up like it was gold. I think we payed $7US for a jar that was 1/4 the size of the jars in the US.

  2. Mmmmm... peanut butter... Haven't had any in years, I'll have to check at the Disco...

By the way, we've found some decent cheeses Industria Argentina this time. I don't know whether they've gotten better or we've gotten used to the taste.

  3. I actually found Paul Newman's ranch dressing in the import section at the Disco! But I didn't buy it because I've never tried it. It's hard to find creamy dressings here. Like Italy, all they have in restaurants is olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
